Kirsten A. Lewis Riding Lessons is a small, personalized horseback riding program dedicated to developing confident, knowledgeable, and well-balanced riders. Instruction is provided by an ARIA (American Riding Instructors Association) Level II Certified Instructor with more than 35 years of riding and teaching experience.

Our program emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of horses, beginning with safe and effective horse handling from the ground up. Students learn essential skills including leading, grooming, tacking, horse care, and management, building a strong foundation of horsemanship and safety.

​

Under saddle, riders develop a secure and balanced seat through the principles of dressage, while also being introduced to basic jumping skills. Lessons are designed to help each rider develop proper position, balance, communication, confidence, and an understanding of how to work effectively with their horse.

All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced riders. Instruction is available for ages 6 and up, with lessons tailored to each rider’s individual experience, goals, and abilities.
